A belt of multiple layers of linen added with 30 strengthened holes to attach different types of hoses. On this belt there were attached the separate hoses before the invention of the doublet in late medieval ages.
These underwear belts were not only used to attach seperate hoses, but they could attach purses or knifes too. These were often worn under the clothes especially by women. The broad design and the multiple layers of linen provides a maximum of wearing comfort and a firm hold for the under garment and it ideally apportions the weight of the belt and all the purses.
The best opportunity were given for wearer of braies. With this belt it is possible to lower the braies for nature´s call without opening the straps of the separate hoses. Long "nestling" actions after toilette were avoided like that.
